For patients with Dutch health insurance, the following care is fully reimbursed by the insurer and is therefore not deducted from your deductible:
- Consultation
- Consult by phone
- E-consultation
- Visite
- Consultation with POH-GGZ
- Consultation with POH-S
- Contact with the GP post
For all other care, the insurer will first address the deductible. This applies, among other things, to:
- Medicines and bandages
- Visit a Medical Specialist or to the Emergency Room
- Imaging (e.g. X-ray, ultrasound, MRI)
- Functional examination (e.g. EKG, lung function examination)
- Blood draw
- Laboratory tests (e.g. STD test, urine or faeces test)
- Pap smear (unless a cervical smear is part of the cervical cancer population screening)
The following NZA rates (2021) apply to passers-by:
- Consultation < 5min € 15.46
- Consultation 5-20 min € 30.91
- Consultation > 20 min € 61.83
- Visit € 46.37
- Visit > 20 min € 77.28
The following NZA rates (2021) apply to foreign patients who are temporarily staying in the Netherlands without Dutch health insurance:
- Consultation < 5min € 16.77
- Consultation 5-20 min € 33.55
- Consultation > 20 min € 67.09
- Visit € 50.32
